Dear [name]
It has been wonderful to see people across the UK finding different ways to celebrate the 70th birthday of the NHS and the amazing work healthcare professionals do in all care settings.
As the celebrations continue, I’d like to say a personal thank you to you, on behalf of the Nursing and Midwifery Council, for the many years you’ve been registered and for all your work.
As someone who’s been registered for 25 years or more, your contribution to healthcare has made a big difference to a huge number of people. You’ve helped make our country’s health services what they are today.
You’ll have no doubt seen a huge amount of change since you started your career. The midwifery and nursing professions are always moving forward, and as changes continue and new challenges appear, you’re making sure the people you care for are kept at the heart of it all.
We’ve changed a lot over the years too. From the early days of regulation to the re-launch of the Code in 2015 and the relatively recent introduction of revalidation. So much of this is thanks to the input we’ve had from the people on our register and we hope to continue working with you as we strive to make sure patients and the public get the best possible care.
All the best…. |
